Welcome to The Dallas Cowboys Fan Network - join us it's free!

That's me in the picture with Tony Romo. We have participated in a few functions together since 2006 - he is a great guy and a good friend to The Dallas Cowboys Fan Network. You can get more detailed information on The Dallas Cowboys Fan Network and hear the story about how I got to know Tony Romo here

Observations from the Philly game

I know this is late but I have been working to fix this site :)

A few things I took away from the Philly game:

1) Nick Folk is an OUTSTANDING kicker - 2 key clutch field goals of 54 and 47 yards at key moments in the game and he just drills them through. I told my wife that is the single biggest difference between now and the Parcells era - he woul dlose 2-3 games a year (at least) because we never had consistent kicking. People easily forget how important that is in an electrifying game of bombs, turnovers, etc, etc but it is just huge

...on the Monday Night thriller against the Eagles

All weekend, the Dallas Morning News has been treating us to memories of the crazy games against the Eagles at Texas Stadium – Pickle Juice, The Bobble, The Eternal Scramble, The Backfired Onsides – all of them. It seems only fitting that tonight’s game, the 98th meeting of these two teams, and the last at Texas Stadium, was one of the absolute craziest. An absolutely thrilling, frustrating, nail-biting, screaming, edge-of-your seat thriller from start to finish. What a game, and my thoughts will be just as erratic as this game.

Bottom line up front:

...on replays, Felix and playing the Eagles

I don’t want to beat last week’s game into the ground, and over-analysis of a single play can cause you to overlook the bigger picture. Still, I do want to go back to the interception against the Browns before sharing a few thoughts on tomorrow’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Game

I think the Cowboys are back. They were very focused at the task at hand on Sunday. They moved the ball up and down the field with ease. They seemed like the Cowboys of old.
They want back in the Super Bowl so bad they can taste it. We fans want them back there so bad we can tast it to. I want number 6 before the Pats.

... on the season opener in Cleveland

I love starting with a win!

Week 1 is always a little tough to figure out (in all the games across the league,) because even in a blow-out win, you don’t really know yet whether it is because the winner is that good, or the loser is that bad. For example, the Eagles crushed St. Louis today (and they come to Texas Stadium next week.) The Cowboys won pretty handily, too. I guess we get a little better idea which team is actually good next week.

Quiz, not really a poll (so don't look it up.) Which QB has the lowest Career Interception Percentage in Cowboys history?
Roger Staubach
Tony Romo
Danny White
Don Meredith
Troy Aikman
