That's me in the picture with Tony Romo. We have participated in a few functions together since 2006 - he is a great guy and a good friend to The Dallas Cowboys Fan Network. You can get more detailed information on The Dallas Cowboys Fan Network and hear the story about how I got to know Tony Romo here

... on the early returns from training camp

We are just a few days into it, and I am not there, so all I have to go by is the various bloggers from our local DFW news (and you can read the best ones right here on the home page.) But that doesn't mean I am not beginning to form some opinions:

  • It sounds like Crayton is really schooling the young DBs. I hope (and believe) it means he really came to play this year.

... on Terry Glenn

I was among those scratching my head a little after the draft that the team did not make a move for a wide receiver.

...on streaks

We all know that “Wade Phillips has never won a playoff game as a head coach.” Now, Gil Lebreton of the Ft. Worth Star Telegram has has written a column pointing out that Tony Romo is 0-5 in play-off games, dating back to his Eastern Illinois days.

Funny thing about streaks in sports, though. They seem to go on forever – until they don’t.

...on free agency

Jerry Seinfeld once joked that being a fan in the free agent era is just "cheering for laundry." It's a funny joke, but a sad state of affairs.

The Giants game - revisited for the last time...

OK - this is the one last point I want to make about the Giants game - in particular the 2nd half of the Giants game.

If you go back and watch it you will see the real culprits...

Ok of course there is the obvious scape goat Mr. Crayton - let's see just agree he didn't perform at all and move on.

Overconfidence and laziness on our offensive line lost us the game in the 2nd half. I know for a fact some players lurk here on this site and read the content as they have told me so. So, I do write this with a little fear :)
