I know that Romo went into last season with the highest career rating of all active QBs and had - I thought surprisingly - one of the top two QB ratings of all time... so I'll go with him. He slipped to fourth by the end of last year with Rodgers and Rivers leapfrogging him (and Steve Young)...Afterthought: it must be an "R" thing...

I think Romo and Aikman are very close. I know for a fact it isn't Meredith or Danny White. It was a different game in that era where defensive backs had a much bigger advantage over today's defensive backs. Staubach is probably the only QB from that era on this list that would be close. I will take Romo over Aikman in a close one only because Aikman had a terrible 1st two years...

Well, I was hoping for more guesses here. Tony Romo has the lowest career INT % in Dallas Cowboys history. Officially he is tied with Aikman, but if you carry it out a few more decimal points, Romo is lower. He also has a higher career completion percentage than Aikman. That's just food for thought, since Aikman was supposed to be "the most accurate ever, robotic quarterback."

Sometimes you have to shake off the typecasting and just believe what you are actually seeing. Romo is a very accurate passer who does not turn the ball over very much.
